Advancing · Broadcast, TV & Film

Advancing for Broadcast, TV & Film.

Track 16 standard deliverable types per show — tech rider, hospitality, stage plot, input list, COI, credentials — with comments, history, and attachments. Film and television production carry more moving pieces than any other live format. We unify call sheets, day-of logistics, vendor COIs, union payroll, and per-production P&L — so the line producer stays on set, not behind a desk.

Advancing for Broadcast, TV & Film · FAQ

Why not just use email and a shared drive?
Because email doesn't have status, history, or role-scoped access. Advancing tracks what a thread can't — who's waiting on what, what slipped, and who approved.
Can external parties upload directly?
Yes. Artists and vendors see their deliverables in their portal and upload files there. Everything writes back to the advancing record for your team.
Can the platform handle union-specific rules (DGA, IATSE, SAG, AEA)?
Yes. Each production configures its union rule set per department. Time cards validate against the rules at submission. Meal penalties and overtime enforce automatically.
How does location clearance work?
Each location has a clearance record with rights-holder contact, granted window, and linked agreement. The system warns when a shoot date falls outside a cleared window.
Can we integrate with our payroll provider (Cast & Crew, Entertainment Partners)?
Yes. Time card exports in the standard formats those providers consume. Two-way sync is Enterprise. Export-only is available on every tier.
