Run-of-Show (ROS)

Also: run of show, show flow, cue sheet

Run-of-Show, or ROS, is the canonical minute-by-minute schedule of an event from doors through strike. Each row carries a cue number, a time, a duration, a department (audio, lighting, video, scenic, security, hospitality), and a note. Show callers and production managers run from the ROS in real time. The ROS publishes to portals so artists see set times, crew see calls, and vendors see delivery windows, all from one canonical record. A weak ROS lives in a shared document that nobody trusts after the second revision.
