Credentials — also called passes — are the physical (laminate, wristband) or digital (QR, NFC) tokens that grant access to event-restricted areas. Tiered credentials (AAA all-access, working pass, talent pass, crew pass, vendor pass, guest pass) carry different access levels: front-of-house, backstage, dressing rooms, production offices, rigging zones. Credentials are issued from a manifest, scanned at zone gates, and revoked when someone leaves their role.
