Load-Out
Also: strike, bump-out, tear-down
Load-out is the reverse of load-in: the show ends, doors clear, and crew dismantles audio, lighting, scenic, and rigging in reverse-build order to load trucks. Venues impose hard exit deadlines (often tied to next-day load-ins for the next event), and load-out velocity often determines whether overtime hours kick in. Tight load-out planning saves money and labor.
