Strike
Also: tear-down, load-out
Strike is the final phase of an event: every piece of gear, scenic element, signage, cable run, and consumable is removed and the venue returned to its pre-event state. Strike is typically the highest-injury period of a show — crew is tired, deadlines are tight, and heavy gear is moving fast — making safety briefings, PPE compliance, and load-out scheduling especially important.
