Front of House (FOH)
Also: front-of-house, audience side
Front of House — FOH — refers to the audience-facing side of a venue and the audio mixing position located there. The FOH engineer mixes what the audience hears through the main sound system. FOH is also where the lighting console often sits, giving the lighting designer line-of-sight to the stage. In broader production usage, FOH refers to anything visible to the audience (signage, ushers, ticket scanners).
